St. Werburgh's C.E. (A) Primary School are proud to be part of a community display to commemorate the centenary of the end of World War I.
Through this special event, St. Werburgh's and all TMPF schools were kindly invited to work in partnership with other groups, schools and local businesses to place displays in shop windows in Cheadle High Street to mark our appreciation of the brave service men, women and animals who have fought for, and protected, their country.
On behalf of the TMPF family, we offer our thanks to all shops and community groups for making this such a special event and also to Boots for generously hosting the display created by the children and team at St. Werburgh's C.E. (A) Primary School which features an injured soldier and a nurse from World War I.
All commemorative displays will be in place until Monday 19th November.
We Will Remember Them.

Congratulations to the boys and girls who represented their school so wonderfully during the CADSSA football A League and B League events.
You showed exceptional sportsmanship (as always!), tackled well, passed well and all showed the importance of teamwork and football being played 'the right way!'.
We are all very proud of each of you.

Well done to our wonderful Years 3/4 and Years 5/6 cross country teams who ran their socks off in the CADSSA cross country relay races.
Both teams achieved a mightily impressive third place finish and showed their brilliant team-work and support of one another.

Thank you to the School Council for organising a wonderful 'Cake Afternoon' to raise money for the Macmillan charity. All children baked in class and enjoyed their wonderful culinary creations during a special snack time. Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood (A.K.A. Mr Brayford and Mr Eccles) were chosen to judge and the Rocky Road baked by Years 3/4 earned them the title of 'Star Baker'.
Many thanks to all families and children who helped to raise an outstanding £166 for this extremely worthwhile cause.

An enormous thank you to all for your support of the St. Werburgh's Harvest Service and to welcome Rev. Sue to her first whole-school celebration.
Your generosity is heart-warming and will be great help to local people at the Women's Refuge and those supported by Homelink.
