R.E. and Collective Worship

“The child grew and became strong; he was full of wisdom and God’s blessings were upon him.”
(Luke 2: 40)

Our vision is to be at the heart of our local community; loving God, loving our neighbor, loving learning and sharing our values of trust, peace, mindfulness and friendship.  These values are embedded in school life, and help children develop their moral compass, decision making and critical thinking.

We believe that we are all children of God, and trust in His love.  We welcome and are inclusive of all, and feel our school is a family for pupils, staff and all those connected.

Our School Motto:
Growing in Faith and Learning.

Collective Worship and Religious Education are fundamental parts of not just our curriculum, but also our ethos and 'way of life' within Dilhorne Endowed C.E. Primary School. In school, we follow the 'Understanding Christianity' curriculum and provide children with the opportunity to learn about Christianity and also other religions to help them to build a deeper understanding of British society and be part of a global community.

Children come together for Collective Worship and we are blessed to welcome members of our local Church, Parish and community to lead us and share these special experiences with us.

We love working with Rev. Linda Lucking and Mrs Audrey Salt, from our church, who help to bring us closer to God.
